Staff Biographies

Marilyn
Marilyn, better known as the "World Traveler," is a long-time resident of Warner Robins. She has raised two children here and now enjoys three grandchildren. Marilyn had eight years previous orthodontic experience prior to joining Dr. Spillers in 1993 at the beginning of his practice. She received certifications from Macon College in Dental Assisting, X-ray, CPR and is a certified Expanded Duties Orthodontic Assistant. Marilyn also orders our orthodontic supplies making sure we have everything needed to best treat our patients.

Brenda
Brenda received her BBA degree from Georgia College with majors in Marketing and Management, and she joined Dr. Spillers in 1996. She has completed extensive training in the areas of treatment coordination, orthodontic software and practice administration and has become our office "Computer Geek." She has also completed the CPR instructor course, enabling her to teach CPR to our staff and others. Brenda is a member of the National Association of Professional Women. She has two daughters, and they are by far her proudest accomplishments. When she is away from the office, Brenda enjoys outdoor activities including hiking, gardening and home improvement projects.

John
In order to keep costs down and ensure quality for custom-fabricated appliances, in 1996 Dr. Spillers added an on-site full service lab. John has been our Lab Technician since that time. He bends, solders and forms materials into functional appliances ranging from retainers to Rapid Palatal Expanders. John is a native of Centerville. After a career with the U. S. Marines, he returned to Centerville where he resides with his lovely wife. He enjoys working outside and is quite the handy man.

Susan
Susan earned her BBA in Marketing from the University of Georgia. She was recruited after bringing her boys for their first visit to our office in 1998. These days, Susan enjoys planning our patient contests and community projects, editing our website, communicating with our friends on social media pages, planning meetings, etc. Susan, her husband and their two sons lived in Germany for three years before settling in Warner Robins. When away from the office, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, antiquing and decorating.

Shannon
Shannon is very well-rounded within the practice; originally serving as an orthodontic assistant, she is currently our Scheduling and Communications Coordinator. Shannon maintains our patient schedule and is responsible for all outgoing communication to general dentists and specialists. She has been with our office since 2000 and has an LPN license and is certified in Expanded Duties, CPR and X-ray. Shannon loves spending time with her husband and two daughters. She believes we should treat others as we would like to be treated, but she tends to favor anyone or anything having to do with the FLORIDA STATE SEMINOLES!!!

Aenon
Aenon originally joined our practice in 1998. We are happy to have her back with us after a short relocation to Florida. Along with 20+ years of orthodontic assisting experience, she is Expanded Duties and X-ray certified and a trained CPR instructor and serves as our Clinical Coordinator. Among the many places Aenon has lived, by far her favorite location was Hawaii. She enjoys spending her free time camping and fishing with her husband and their children.

Lori
Lori began as an orthodontic assistant with Dr. Spillers in 2000. She is a Nationally Certified Orthodontic Assistant and CPR, Expanded Duties and X-ray certified. In 2010 Lori decided to trade in her gloves to work with patients and parents who are beginning their orthodontic journey. Her clinical knowledge is proving to be a tremendous asset to both our patients and team. Lori enjoys cruising the open seas and vacationing at the beach and the mountains. But mostly, she loves spending time with her husband and family.

Hannah
Hannah joined our office as an Orthodontic Assistant in 2008. She received certifications from Middle Georgia Technical College in Dental Assisting, Radiology, CPR and is a Certified Expanded Duties Dental Assistant. Hannah was born and raised in Perry, Georgia. She enjoys spending time with her large family: she is one of six children! In her spare time, you can find Hannah at a UGA football game in the fall or relaxing on the beach with a good book in the summer.

Jennifer W.
Jennifer grew up in Warner Robins and attended Northside High School. She worked in the medical field for over 14 years, both here and in the Atlanta area. Luckily for us, Jen moved back to Warner Robins in 2008 and joined our practice as the Financial Coordinator. She is responsible for patient accounts and insurance. Jennifer loves the movie "Talladega Nights" because one of her favorite pastimes is watching Nascar. She is truly a Southern girl at heart! She loves reading and spending time with family and friends.

Jessica
Jessica received her Dental Assisting Certificate in 2001. After several years of experience, she became part of our team in 2008. Jessica is Expanded Duties, CPR and X-ray certified. She spends every possible moment with family and friends, and her hobbies include riding four-wheelers, camping and reading. Jessica has played softball since she was 5 years old and now returns to the ball field with her husband to watch their daughter play.

Leslie
Leslie worked in the professional photography field for 12 years prior to joining our team in February 2009. Her welcoming smile and warm personality greet you as you walk through our front door! Leslie is a true believer that "everything happens for a reason" and "worrying is like a rocking chair. It gives you something to do, but gets you nowhere." She most enjoys relaxing with her husband and three children by the pool.

Jenni
Jenni became a team member in 2009, as our dedicated sterilization technician. She insures our clinic has sterile instruments to work with, much the same way as an operating room at a hospital. Jenni has spent numerous hours volunteering her time at Houston Healthcare, working with the nurses and pharmacy. She was born and raised in Perry, Georgia. Her favorite quote is "If you can kneel before God, you can stand before anyone."

Molly
Molly stayed at home with her three children before coming to work with us in 2010. Her background is in general dentistry, having attended Air Force training at Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana, but Molly has transitioned beautifully into Orthodontics! She is CPR, Expanded Duties and X-ray certified. Although Molly was born in Mississippi and loves the Ole Miss Rebels, she was raised in Louisiana, so she cannot help but root for the Saints. Molly's philosophy is "To remember that in every situation to treat others the way I want to be treated. Kindness goes a long way." Her favorite things to do are watching football, cooking and shopping!

Rachel
Rachel completed the orthodontic assisting program at the Orthodontic Assisting School of Atlanta and studied Early Childhood Education at Macon State College. Prior to joining our team in 2010, she had almost 2 years assisting experience. Rachel is Expanded Duties, CPR and X-ray certified. She enjoys going for walks with her dogs and spending time with family and friends. She loves Dunkin Donuts coffee and Ingleside Village Pizza. Rachel's philosophy is to treat everyone like you want to be treated and she believes "Nobody needs a smile so much as the one who has none to give. Amanda
Amanda joined our team in 2010 after several years in the medical field. She has a glowing smile that greets you when you walk through our front doors. Amanda is a local girl who grew up in Middle Georgia. She likes to vacation, loves all animals and has a passion for interior design. In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with her family, watching football and eating seafood! Amanda believes that life is too short to go about it unhappy!

Nikki
Nikki graduated from Middle Georgia Technical College in 2007 with a dental assisting degree. She gained three years' experience in the general dentistry field before joining our team in May 2011. Nikki is expanded duties, CPR and X-ray certified. In her spare time, Nikki enjoys going to the beach, shopping, cooking, attending Zumba classes and spending time with her husband and little girl. She believes in "living every day to the fullest".

Danielle
Danielle joined our team in 2011 after graduating from Middle Georgia Technical College's School of Dental Assisting; she is Expanded Duties, X-ray and CPR certified. Danielle's philosophy on life is to "Learn from yesterday, live for today and hope for tomorrow". When she is away from the office, she enjoys photography, spending time with her husband and their little boy and shopping!

Jennifer K.
Prior to joining us in 2012, Jennifer had 12 years of orthodontic assisting experience. She is CPR, x-ray and Expanded Duties certified. Jennifer lives on a farm with her USMC husband and their adorable little boy. Cuddling with her son is one of her favorite things to do. She loves the color white, the movie "An Unfinished Life", anything to do with Science and will eat "anything that doesn't run off her plate!" Jennifer's words to live by are "if you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything."

Crissy
Crissy joined our team in 2012 as our Treatment Coordinator. Her beautiful smile and winning personality make you feel welcome at your very first appointment! Crissy is married with two children and most enjoys watching her kids "play ball". Because she grew up in North Carolina, she is a huge Duke fan. Her favorite quote is "Don't look back, you're not going that way". As for her life's philosophy, she believes "sometimes all you can do is not think, not wonder, not imagine, not obsess; just breathe and have faith that everything will work out for the best".

Continuing Education
The staff attends continuing education seminars and classes to stay abreast of the ever-changing products and techniques of orthodontics. Some of the classes we have attended include:
